2010 was our best year yet and we're hoping to surpass it in 2011! Pagans from throughout New England and beyond filled the Peterborough Unitarian Universalist Church for a day-long celebration of community, festival, and ritual. In keeping with the spirit of the "final harvest", Celebrate Samhain collected a record donation of food for the Peterborough Town Hall Food Bank. Our thanks to everyone for their amazing generosity and support!
Join us in 2011 for our 6th year with some old friends and very special guests including Keynote Speaker, esteemed author Judika Illes; authors Raven and Stephanie Grimassi of the House of Grimassi; NH's own award-winning author and Founder of the Temple of Witchcraft, Christopher Penczak; renowned "Kitchen Witch" Dawn Hunt of Cucina Aurora, and perennial festival favorites, Frenchy & the Punk (formerly The Gypsy Nomads).
This Year's Event:
Saturday, October 22nd, 2011 • 10 AM - 6 PM

Celebrate Samhain is New England's premier Samhain festival – dedicated to the ancient Celtic celebration of the final harvest and "day of the dead".
Filled with magic, music, crafts, and merriment, Celebrate Samhain offers something for everyone... Be entranced by the bewitching music of a gypsy troupe; browse the wares of mystical vendors; learn something new in a variety of free talks and workshops; make and take home your own magical crafts; enlist a reading by a gifted intuitive; indulge in sumptuous harvest fare; and observe the ancient Celtic holiday of Samhain in a traditional, earth-centered ceremony that honors our ancestors and those who have gone on before.
Celebrate Samhain – a festival commemorating the origins of Halloween – seeks to provide a fun and enlightening experience for the whole community. This year's event helps support the Peterborough Town Hall Food Bank and the Peterborough Unitarian Universalist Church "Mitten Tree Drive".
Admission
Admission for the entire day is only $7 per person with a donation of a non-perishable food item or a donation of a new winter clothing item (mittens, hats, socks, scarves, etc.). $10 without donation. An Indoors Event – Rain or Shine!
The gods have blessed us with rain in years past, though when it rains, we shine! Celebrate Samhain is an indoors event. Escape the wet and spend the day exploring, shopping, feasting, and celebrating! Don't miss this once-a-year opportunity to connect with community and discover and honor the magic in your life and around you!
