Kitchen witchery for cooking with, and for, the ancestors
In this workshop, we will discuss how ancestral magic has been passed from generation to generation through food. The discussion will include tips and practices that can be incorporated into your everyday life to invite the beloved Dead to join you in the Kitchen at Samhain and throughout the year. We will also discuss seasonal foods and how to use them for these purposes. A short meditation will be included if time allows.
Dawn Aurora Hunt, owner and CEO of Cucina Aurora Kitchen Witchery, has been teaching and writing on the topics of Kitchen Witchery and Spiritual Nutrition since 2010, when she started her own company making gourmet foods with a dash of magic and a heaping helping of positive vibes as the main ingredients. Diana Harris
Ancestral Healing: Reclaiming Our Roots, Restoring Our Future
At Samhain, the veil between worlds grows thin, and we are reminded that our ancestors walk with us. Their voices, struggles, and gifts echo in our lives today – shaping our choices, our challenges, and even the world we live in. What we inherit is more than our eye color or family stories; it is also the unhealed pain, beliefs, and patterns that travel silently through generations.
Right now, America and humanity are at a crossroads. The unrest and dysfunction we see rising are not new – they are ancestral patterns resurfacing, calling us to transform them. Our evolution depends on remembering our roots and engaging in the healing work our ancestors have long awaited.
In this keynote presentation, Diana Harris will guide you into the heart of Ancestral Healing -the process of bringing light to your lineage so you, and those who come after you, may walk free. Together we will explore:
- Why ancestral healing matters to both individual and collective consciousness
- How generational trauma and inherited beliefs show up in our daily lives
- The wisdom held within our spiritual DNA
- Ways to transform ancestral wounds, karma, and pain into power, healing, and love
- How to build authentic relationships with your ancestors as allies on your path
This is not about looking backward – it is about reclaiming your future. If you feel called to this gathering, trust that your ancestors are already whispering to you. They are asking you to step forward, to heal, and to carry their wisdom into a brighter tomorrow.
